We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Service Description

4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Each account is licensed for use by a single individual. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate study responses, explanations, quiz questions, and study guidance. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. The content provided by PrepPilot™:
- Does not constitute professional advice or official PMI guidance

- Is provided for educational and study purposes only
You bear full responsibility for verifying the accuracy of any information provided by the Service before relying on it for exam preparation or professional practice.
To learn more about our quality process, including human review, content auditing, and how we maintain question accuracy, see How We Get It Right.
6. Readiness Score and Exam Results
The Readiness Score displayed on PrepPilot™ is a composite metric based on your activity and performance within the platform over a rolling 30-day window. It incorporates nine scoring factors including accuracy, domain coverage, learning trends, question depth, mock exam performance, domain balance, exam pacing, exam consistency, and study consistency.
The Readiness Score is a study guidance tool designed to help you assess your preparation. While PrepPilot™ strives to provide meaningful readiness assessment, your actual exam performance depends on many factors beyond the scope of this Service, including your prior experience, study habits, the specific content of your exam, and exam-day conditions. Actual PMP® exam content and passing criteria are controlled solely by PMI.
Except as specifically provided under the PrepPilot Pass Guarantee (Section 7), PrepPilot™ makes no representations or warranties that use of the Service will result in passing the PMP® exam or any other certification exam.
7. PrepPilot Pass Guarantee
PrepPilot™ offers a Pass Guarantee program to eligible paid subscribers ("Pass Ready" plan holders). The Pass Guarantee provides extended access to the Service if you do not pass the PMP® exam after meeting all eligibility criteria.
7.1 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Pass Guarantee, you must meet all three of the following criteria:
- Readiness Score of 85 or higher for 3 consecutive calendar days. Your score must reach and sustain 85+ for at least three consecutive days as recorded in your PrepPilot account.
- Complete at least 3 full mock exams with passing scores. You must complete three 180-question timed mock exams within PrepPilot and score 61% or higher on all three (PrepPilot’s internal mock exam benchmark - PMI does not publish an exact passing score).
- Take the real PMP® exam within 14 calendar days of qualifying. You must sit for the actual PMP® exam within 14 calendar days of the date you first met both of the above criteria.
7.2 Remedy
If you meet all three eligibility criteria and do not pass the PMP® exam, PrepPilot™ will extend your access to the Service for 90 additional calendar days at no charge. The Pass Guarantee provides extended Service access only. It does not cover, reimburse, or refund:
- PMP® exam registration fees or retake costs
- Any PrepPilot™ payments already made
- Any indirect costs, lost wages, or consequential damages
7.3 Claim Process
To submit a guarantee claim, email support@mypreppilot.com with a copy of your PMI Certification Exam Report. The report must clearly show your name, PMI ID, exam date, overall score performance, and domain performance ratings (People, Process, Business Environment). The name on your report must match the name on your PrepPilot™ account. PrepPilot™ will verify your eligibility using your report and account data, including readiness score history and mock exam records. Claims are reviewed within 5 business days.
7.4 Limitations
- The Pass Guarantee is available to paid subscribers only (Pass Ready plans). Free-tier users are not eligible.
- Limited to one guarantee claim per user account.
- Eligibility is determined solely by PrepPilot™ based on platform data. PrepPilot™ reserves the right to deny claims where eligibility criteria were not met as recorded in our systems.
- PrepPilot™ may modify or discontinue the Pass Guarantee program at any time with 30 days' notice. Users who have already qualified under the existing terms will be honored.
- Attempts to manipulate readiness score data, create fraudulent exam outcome reports, or otherwise abuse the guarantee program will result in claim denial and may result in account termination.
For full details on the Pass Guarantee, including how the Readiness Score is calculated, see the Pass Guarantee page.
8. Payment and Access
PrepPilot™ offers a free tier and paid access plans ("Pass Ready"). Paid plans are one-time purchases processed through Stripe. Each purchase grants access for a fixed duration (e.g., 30 days or 90 days) as stated at the time of purchase. There are no recurring charges or automatic renewals.
If you purchase additional access while an existing plan is still active, the new access period is added to your remaining time. Access expires at the end of the purchased duration and reverts to the free tier unless you make a new purchase.
All sales are final. Because access begins immediately upon purchase, no refunds are provided, except as specifically described under the Pass Guarantee and Score Payback Program (Section 8d below). We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect access already purchased.
8a. Free Trial
PrepPilot™ may offer a free trial of the Pass Ready plan. The trial provides full Pass Ready access for the stated duration (currently 7 days) with no credit card required. Each user is limited to one free trial per account.
The trial does not automatically convert to a paid plan. At the end of the trial period, your account reverts to the free tier unless you purchase a paid plan. If you purchase a paid plan while your trial is still active, your remaining trial days are added to your purchased access period.
8b. Usage Limits
Both free and paid tiers are subject to daily usage limits. These limits reset at midnight UTC each day. Current limits are displayed on the Plan page and may include caps on AI chat messages, quiz questions, study mode messages, and mock exams.
Quiz Questions and Quick Drill draw from the same daily question pool. Study Mode messages are counted per AI response within a study session, not per session started.
PrepPilot™ reserves the right to adjust usage limits at any time. Material reductions to paid-tier limits will be communicated with 30 days' notice. Free-tier limits may be adjusted without notice.
8c. Analytics and Data Collection
By using the Service, you acknowledge that PrepPilot™ collects essential product analytics to operate, secure, and improve the platform. Essential analytics record core product events such as account creation, login, exam and quiz starts, subscription events, and feature usage. These events are necessary for service delivery and are processed under our legitimate interest in maintaining a functional, secure platform.
Extended analytics (page views, session recordings, and behavioral patterns) are only collected after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time through the Privacy Policy page. For full details on what data we collect and how it is used, see our Privacy Policy.
8d. Score Payback Program
The Score Payback Program is an optional, opt-in offer through which PrepPilot™ provides a partial refund to eligible users who submit verified PMP® exam outcome data and complete a calibration survey. The purpose is to compensate users for the value of real exam outcome data used to calibrate our question bank.
Eligibility: (1) The user must have an active or previously-active Pass Ready plan purchased through Stripe; license-key redemptions are explicitly excluded. (2) The user must have genuinely studied with PrepPilot™ before the exam: the reported exam date must fall on or after the account creation date, and the user must have completed at least three (3) mock exams and reached a Readiness Score of at least 65, both on or before the exam date. (3) The user must have taken the real PMP® exam and report a complete outcome (exam date, pass/fail status, and ratings for all three domains: People, Process, Business Environment). (4) The user must upload an official PMI Certification Exam Report (PDF) on which the candidate's full name, PMI ID, and exam date are legible; the full name must match the user's PrepPilot™ account name, and the exam date must match the reported outcome. Manually entered exam results do not qualify for the Score Payback— an uploaded PDF is required so we can verify the report is genuine. (5) The user must complete the Score Payback calibration survey. (6) Each PrepPilot™ account is eligible for one payback in its lifetime.
Payment amount: 20% of the user's lifetime PrepPilot™ spend processed through Stripe, subject to a per-account maximum that is displayed to the user on the /payback page and again before the user submits an application. Refunds are issued in the original payment currency via Stripe partial refund and applied against the user's original charges. PrepPilot™ reserves the right to adjust per-account maximums periodically; the cap shown to the user at the time of application submission is the cap that applies to that submission.
Verification and processing:Submissions are reviewed manually within approximately five (5) business days. PrepPilot™ reserves the right to deny applications that cannot be verified, including but not limited to: name mismatch, illegible PDF, suspected fraud, duplicate submission, or use of a license-key plan. Denied applications may be re-submitted if the cause is correctable.
Independence from Pass Guarantee: The Score Payback Program operates independently of the Pass Guarantee. A user who qualifies for both may receive both. Score Payback is not a refund of any specific service shortfall.
