How We Get It Right
Built with AI. Backed by humans. Improving every day.
You're trusting PrepPilot™ to help you pass a career-defining exam. We take that seriously.
Every question, every explanation, every score you see has been through a process designed to earn that trust. Here's what that looks like.
There are real people behind this.
PrepPilot™ isn't a content dump that got uploaded and forgotten. There's a team actively working on the material you study every single day.
Questions are reviewed. Explanations are refined. Feedback is read. Not by an algorithm. By people who understand what's at stake when you sit for this exam.
Every flag gets a set of human eyes.
See something off? Flag it. Every report - whether it's a confusing explanation, a questionable answer, or a typo - gets reviewed by a real person.
Not routed to a queue that nobody checks. Reviewed, fixed if needed, and closed. Usually the same day.
Content is reviewed weekly.
Every week, questions and explanations are reviewed for accuracy, integrity, and alignment with current PMP® exam standards. Content that doesn't meet the bar gets updated or removed.
The PMBOK® Guide evolves. ECO domains shift. Your prep material should keep up. Ours does.
AI is a tool, not a shortcut.
Yes, we use AI. We also use human review, structured quality checks, and verification at every step. AI helps us build better content faster. It doesn't get the final say.
Every piece of AI-produced content goes through the same quality process as everything else. No exceptions.
Our approach to AI aligns with the responsible use guidelines outlined in the PMBOK®Guide 8th Edition - human oversight, transparency about what's AI-generated, and accountability for accuracy.
The question bank is never “done.”
Other prep tools ship a fixed set of questions and move on. PrepPilot™'s question bank is actively maintained - reviewed, updated, calibrated, and expanded. Learn how to tell if your practice questions are actually accurate.
It's not a static file. It's a living resource that gets better every week.
With 10,000+ questions and growing, every new question goes through the same rigorous review process. More questions means more variety, so you spend less time seeing repeats and more time closing real gaps.
Your feedback makes it better.
The best quality signal we have is you. When you flag a question, leave feedback, or tell us something feels off - that's data we act on.
You're not just a user. You're one of the people helping us build this. Every flag, every piece of feedback makes PrepPilot™ sharper for your next session - and more accurate for every candidate who comes after you.
How questions get chosen.
A good question bank is half the job. The other half is picking the right question for the right candidate at the right time. Most prep tools serve a fixed sequence to every user. PrepPilot™ weights every next question against four signals from your performance.
Performance.Accuracy by domain over a rolling 30-day window. If you're sitting at 52% on People and 78% on Process, the next batch tilts toward People until that gap closes.
Recency. A domain you struggled with three days ago gets a temporary boost. Miss a Process question on Tuesday, see more Process by Friday. The boost decays over about a week.
Difficulty band.Retention is highest when you succeed roughly 60 to 80% of the time. Easy questions you ace at 90% get downweighted. Hard questions where you're holding your own get a boost. You stay in the productive zone.
Time to exam. The bias sharpens as your test date approaches. Sixty days out, the engine explores. Inside 30 days, it leans hard on weak domains. Inside a week, it filters to weak domains only and pulls half the questions from your spaced-repetition queue.
The longer you practice, the sharper the selection. For the full breakdown, read how adaptive question routing works.
