The PrepPilot™ Pass Guarantee
We know what's at stake. The exam fee. The months of studying. The people you told you were going for it.
Hit your Readiness Score, pass your PMP® exam, or study free for 90 more days. Here's exactly how it works.
TL;DR:
Score 85+ on the PrepPilot™ Readiness Score for 3 consecutive days, pass 3 full 180-question mock exams with 61%+ (PrepPilot's internal benchmark), and take the real PMP® exam within 14 days. If you don't pass, you get 90 days of free continued access. One claim per user. Paid subscribers only.
What are the eligibility requirements?
To qualify for the Pass Guarantee, you must meet all three criteria below. These are verified by PrepPilot™ using your account data.
Readiness Score of 85+ for 3 consecutive days
Your Readiness Score must reach 85 or higher and stay there for at least 3 calendar days in a row. This confirms your readiness is stable, not a one-day spike.
Complete at least 3 full mock exams with passing scores
You must complete three 180-question timed mock exams within PrepPilot™ and score 61% or higher on all three (PrepPilot's internal mock exam benchmark - PMI does not publish an exact passing score). This proves you can perform consistently under real exam conditions.
Take the real PMP® exam within 14 days of qualifying
Once you meet the first two criteria, you have 14 calendar days to sit for the real PMP® exam. This ensures your readiness is current when you test.
What happens if you don't pass?
If you meet all three eligibility criteria and do not pass the PMP® exam, contact us at support@mypreppilot.com with a copy of your PMI Certification Exam Report. The report must clearly show your name, PMI ID, exam date, overall score performance (Pass/Fail and performance category), and domain performance ratings for all three domains (People, Process, and Business Environment). The name on your report must match the name on your PrepPilot™ account. We will verify your eligibility and extend your PrepPilot™ access for 90 additional days at no charge.
The guarantee provides extended access to PrepPilot™ for continued study. It does not cover exam registration fees, retake costs, refunds of prior PrepPilot™ payments, or any other expenses. One guarantee claim per user. See our Terms of Service for full details.

See full Score Payback detailsHow is the Readiness Score calculated?
Your Readiness Score is a composite of nine factors measured over a rolling 30-day window. Every quiz answer, mock exam, and study session feeds into it. The questions themselves are calibrated by real performance data, so the score reflects genuine difficulty.
Accuracy
How often you answer correctly, weighted by difficulty. Question difficulty is calibrated by real user data, not manually assigned, so harder questions genuinely predict harder exam topics.
Domain Coverage
Whether you've studied all PMP® exam domains with sufficient depth, not just your strong areas.
Learning Trend
Whether your accuracy is improving, flat, or declining over the past 30 days.
Question Depth
Your mix of easy, medium, and hard questions. Only doing easy questions won't inflate your score.
Exam Performance
Your scores on full 180-question timed mock exams, weighted toward recent attempts.
Domain Balance
Whether your accuracy is consistent across PMI-weighted domains, or dangerously lopsided.
Exam Pacing
How you manage time on mock exams. Rushing or running out of time both lower your score.
Exam Consistency
How predictable your domain performance is across mock exams. Volatile scores mean volatile outcomes.
Study Consistency
Your daily study streak. Steady preparation scores higher than sporadic cramming.
New users also have a confidence multiplier that ramps up as they build study history. This prevents inflated scores from small sample sizes. Full credit requires approximately 800 questions, 14 days of active study, and 3 mock exams.
Frequently asked questions
Do I get a refund if I fail?
The guarantee provides 90 days of extended PrepPilot™ access for continued study, not a monetary refund. This gives you the tools to prepare for a retake.
Can I claim the guarantee more than once?
The guarantee is limited to one claim per user account.
What if my score drops below 85 before the exam?
Your score must be at 85+ for 3 consecutive days before taking the exam. If it drops below 85 before you've held it for 3 days, keep studying until it stabilizes.
Does the guarantee apply to the free tier?
No. The Pass Guarantee is available to Pass Ready (paid) subscribers only.
I failed the PMP® before. Can I still qualify for the guarantee?
Yes. The guarantee is based on your PrepPilot™ Readiness Score and mock exam performance, not your exam history. If you meet the criteria, you're covered.
How do I submit a claim?
Email support@mypreppilot.com with your exam date. We verify eligibility using your account data and respond within 5 business days.
